Connor Sansby
Award-winning poet, Connor Sansby is Occulture Studio’s founder and Creative Director.
An award-winning poet, Connor’s work draws on esoteric symbolism from the I Ching to Thelema. This all-consuming approach has seen him run a publishing house and record label, as well as 20 years in marketing and consulting.
His writing career began in 2014 through a series of biographies about key figures in the occult.
His sculptural work uses everday objects to disrupt space, through ritual process and lighting design, channelling the uncanny nature of neurodivergence.

Ciarán Barata-Hynes
Ciarán Barata-Hynes is an award winning poet and actor, with an academic background in Mythology and Magic.
He co-created and starred in the Shakespeare By Halflight and Medea online series, founded the new writing arm of the Canterbury Shakespeare Festival, and was the longest reigning Kent Poetry Champion in the title’s history.
In 2025 he published his debut poetry collection ‘I The Burning’ which he co-wrote with Connor Sansby.

Setareh Ebrahimi
Setareh Ebrahimi is an Iranian-British multi-disciplinary artist and performer. She released her first pamphlet of poetry, In My Arms, from Bad Betty Press in 2018 and her full-length collection, Galloping Horses, from Wordsmithery in 2020. She regularly performs her poetry in Kent and London, has hosted her own poetry evenings and leads writing workshops.
Setareh has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize and has been published numerous times in journals and magazines, including Proletarian Poetry, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Menteur and The Margate Bookie Zines.
As well as writing poetry, Setareh also writes short stories, articles, reviews and comedy shows, which she performs. In 2021 Setareh started her podcast, Etcetera, available on YouTube, to have fun and laid-back discussions with other poets and creatives.

Aimée Louise Lewis
Aimée Louise Lewis is a scholar of hidden things. A tender of ancient herb gardens, a reader of mythology, and a devoted researcher into the true and suppressed power of the feminine. The great-niece of a clairvoyant, Aimée’s practice includes a dedicated study of divination, including Tarot.
Holding two Masters degrees, in Sociology and Gender Theory, from LSE and St Andrews alongside a First Class in Fashion Design, she has spent years crafting mythologies for some of the world’s biggest brands, and the last six of them quietly redirecting those same skills toward something far more meaningful.
She is currently writing a book that unearths the forgotten feminist history woven through a mysterious Margate road.
Louis Palfrey
Louis Palfrey is an award-winning composer, music technologist, improviser, facilitator, and researcher.
He has created work for performance, film, audio drama, podcasts, games, and installations, alongside a catalogue of self-released music spanning multiple genres. He is currently working towards a PhD at Canterbury Christ Church University, exploring free improvisation and Neurodivergence.
A Zen practitioner and martial artist, Louis approaches his work through a ‘practice of play-not-practise’, grounded in improvisation, attention, presence, and embodied exploration.
His work often explores Neurodivergent identity, ‘beginner’s mind’, environment, accessibility, generative and chance processes, and technology.
