Rituals are our body of work as a studio. As a loose collective of practioners from across disciplines and practices, our output can be equally as diverse. The “ritual” is used to bring together our work in music, workshops, design and beyond into one coherent portfolio.
Ritual 000: First Friday Tarot
As the thinning of the veils between worlds drews closer, First Friday invited you to delve into the arcane mysteries of the world’s favourite fortune-telling deck, and explore how Tarot has grown from a parlour game, to a secretive initiatory system, to a vibrant form for artists.
We looked into the history and iconography of Tarot, with displays of a variety of decks, readings from Froggybones Tarot, and, for those who fell in love with a particular deck, a silent auction for many of the decks out on display.

RITUAL 001: Writing As Ritual: A Talk (part of Words Change Things festival)
Writing As Ritual is a talk by award winning poet Connor Sansby on the importance of writing and how good literature can be used to encode tangible change to the material world. We look at how the ancient world considered the writer, how modern writers have used the mystical in their work and how great literature still holds an important place in the cultural psyche.
